Hi!

I’m Rodolfo Viana. I’ve worked as an office messenger, helped out in a hair salon, bagged groceries at a neighborhood store, and done plenty of other jobs.

These days, I work in data engineering and artificial intelligence. I have a postgraduate specialization in machine learning from the University of São Paulo (USP). I’m finishing my master’s degree at São Paulo State University (UNESP), where I study the reliability of brain tumor segmentation in MRI scans.

Outside of work, I walk my dog, Pitoco, and kick a ball around with my godson. I read a lot of nonfiction and listen to albums — anything from System of a Down to Péricles. Before bed, I binge-watch videos ranging from Age of Empires II gameplay to off-grid cabin building and clock and watch restoration. I also look after my plants, and I’m worried about an orchid that’s taking a long time to grow roots.
